Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions and make sure that you understand them before placing an order with Coral & Slate Designs. Once an order is placed you have signified your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions.
Coral & Slate Designs reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect once posted on the website, and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website.
artwork & proofs.
Design and proofing does take time, and has been factored in to pricing, we provide initial proofs, the following quantity of proof revisions are included within cost, from thereafter proofs are charged at £15.00.
Silver - 1 proof revision included.
Gold - 3 proof revisions included.
Platinum - 5 proof revisions included.
Therefore we would recommend that you carefully read the text to check for spelling errors, and clearly notify us of any information that you feel needs to be added, or indeed taken out. Any delay in returning approval of proofs may result in a delay to producing your order.
PDF Proofs are sent via email, unless specifically requested. Great care is taken to ensure all information is accurate, however it is ultimately the responsibility of the client to check layout, wording, spelling and grammar. If designs are approved and signed off with type errors and subsequently printed Coral & Slate Designs takes no responsibility, and will not be liable for any resulting cost. If replacements are required they will be charged for in full. Therefore we would always encourage that you check spelling and wording thoroughly, and perhaps have a friend check it over too.
It is therefore advisable to print off all PDF proofs and final artwork before giving your approval. This will help to ensure that the scale is correct, and that all fonts can be read at the correct size, and that you are happy with the colour. Please bare in mind that printers also vary and that your final stationery will be printed on the highest quality professional print press therefore the colours may differ slightly.
Please note that the colour on your screen may differ from printed colour, each screen is collaborated differently and this is particularly noticeable on phones and tablets.
quotes & payment.
Upon approval of the quote sent by Coral & Slate a non-refundable 70% deposit of the estimated bill will be required before any design work can commence.
If you would like to ‘freeze’ your costing for 6 months, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required. This will make you exempt from any price increases that occur within that time, only on the products stated within the costing.
Once final proofs have been agreed the remainder will be paid before printing begins.
All costs are quoted in and are to be paid in pound sterling, by cheque or bank transfer.
From approval of your final proof, and a full payment, your wedding stationery will be ready for collection or delivery within 2-4 weeks. If you are working to a tighter time scale we are happy to accommodate as and when we are able, but some cases, this may incur a rush fee. Please mention your time scale on your initial enquiry.
Coral & Slate Designs cannot be held responsible for any delay to delivery as a result of late payment.

All stationery artwork and designs remain the copyright of Coral & Slate Designs, they may not be reproduced in any form without prior written permission from Coral & Slate Designs. Any improper or illegal use of the stationery, artwork or designs or any other intellectual property rights will be pursued.
It is the clients’ responsibility to get permission to reproduce any copyrighted material, such as the words of hymns or poems, which are to be featured in the stationery.
These Terms and Conditions are between you and Coral & Slate Designs. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
These Terms and Conditions (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in relation to them) shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Coral & Slate Designs reserves the right to use any stationery we create for you to promote our products and services. However we will never share any of your personal information with third parties.
